Born and raised in the City of Philadelphia where all his inspiration of creative story telling comes from. E.K.Powers was created long before he knew this name would come into existence.
EK Powers is the author of this debut dramatic novel “Hidden Revenge, Saga of a NBA Superstar.” EK Powers have had a gift for telling stories since he was a teen in Philadelphia. During those years he has developed his story telling into writing dramatically, steamy, and controversial fiction for which he is known for.
EK Powers received his education from the University of Akron where he studied Communications and English. Ohio is truly his second home where he lived there for years with his wonderful wife, beautiful kids, and enjoying glorious times with special friends and family there in Akron.
His return to Philly was inevitable, ironically during his move back to Philadelphia this great love story of sacrifice, love, obsession, and revenge developed into a novel like no other. This novel is based in Philadelphia where he and his wife of 14 years now reside.
As a little boy his visions and dreams have always been to affect people lives with influential and moving words.

E.K. Powers have written six short stories and two teen short novels in Ohio that were published while in Canton, OH.
The Titles of the short stories as follows:
In the Garden- A murder love story
It’s in the water – A fictional story about a plot from the government and polluted water
The problem between me and lies- about a man and his three bipolar wives
Sweat – about sex, lies and down low woman
Dream Lust – a man who experiences alien sex
Trippin – a drug dealer and policeman who are dealers in city hall
Teen short stories:
Flying high – a teen who’s hooked on marijuana
Caged mind- This story is about a teen who gets accused of rape.
Has written a sports newsletter for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) in Akron OH for two years
Has his own publishing company called EK Powers Publishing.
And he is currently writing the sequel to the first novel. Will be released winter of 2010.
He’s also writing the screenplay for the new novel.
